The Honeywell ScanPal EDA56 is the latest generation of portable mobile computers from the ScanPal series - developed for companies that rely on fast communication, smooth data capture and high durability. Whether in retail, logistics, field service or manufacturing: The EDA56 ensures optimum efficiency in networked working environments. Thanks to integrated Wi-Fi 6 technology, the EDA56 enables a significantly higher data rate and lower latency - even in network-loaded environments such as warehouses, dispatch centers or sales floors. The Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor (2.0 GHz) ensures smooth performance, complemented by up to 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Design meets industrial quality

With its 5.5-inch HD touchscreen made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, an ergonomic housing and a weight of just 258 g, the EDA56 sits comfortably in the hand and can be used comfortably with one hand for long periods of time. The IP67 protection class provides reliable protection against dust and water, while drops from up to 1.5 meters (with protective cover) in accordance with MIL-STD 810G are no problem. The Honeywell S0703 scan engine offers excellent reading performance - even with damaged or poorly printed barcodes. This is supported by a 13 MP main camera with autofocus and a 5 MP front camera, ideal for documentation and video communication.

Flexibly networked & future-proof

The EDA56 is pre-installed with Android 11 and can be upgraded to Android 13 - including the Google-certified Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) platform. In addition to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), the device also supports Bluetooth® 5.1, NFC and optional connection with Honeywell RFID readers (IH25/IH40). With the replaceable 4500 mAh battery, which offers over 12 hours of runtime and supports Quick Charge 3.0, the EDA56 remains reliable in use. It is also backwards compatible with the EDA52 accessories, protecting existing investments and reducing the total cost of ownership.
