The CODiScan from Datalogic is a breath of fresh air in the field of mobile data capture. Weighing just 44 grams and featuring an ultra-compact design, this Bluetooth wearable scanner is ideal for demanding applications in logistics, retail and manufacturing. Whether picking, sorting or receiving goods, CODiScan increases efficiency and reduces errors by up to 33% through hands-free operation. Thanks to its modular design, the scanner can be worn by hand, on a belt or around the neck, depending on the working environment. The ergonomic hand holder is suitable for both left and right-handed users, making the CODiScan the ideal companion for changing teams and long shifts.
Intelligent technology for precise and fast scanning
The CODiScan impresses with an innovative aiming system that makes it easier to capture the correct barcode - ideal for closely spaced labels. Thanks to visual (side LEDs, green dot on the barcode), acoustic and haptic feedback, the user knows immediately whether the scan was successful - even in noisy environments or when visibility is poor. All common 1D and 2D barcodes as well as postcodes are supported. The range extends up to 1.5 m for standard barcodes and up to 5 m for larger codes. The battery life of up to 16 hours and 12,000 scans per charge enables uninterrupted work in two-shift operation - a decisive improvement over conventional hand-held scanners.
Simple integration and sustainable use
A major advantage of the CODiScan is its uncomplicated setup: configuration is carried out via the Datalogic Aladdin™ app using an Android device or web interface. Firmware updates, parameter settings and barcode configurations can be easily adjusted. The scanner can also be integrated into existing PC or cloud systems via the gateway. The separation of electronics and textile is particularly sustainable: the holder can be washed at 30 °C, while the electronics are reusable. Spare parts such as straps and housing parts are available separately - ideal for a long service life and resource-saving use.
