The Datalogic Gryphon I GBT4500 stands for the highest performance in the field of wireless 2D barcode scanners. With the latest Bluetooth® technology (version 5.0 with BLE), the GBT4500 offers maximum freedom of movement with secure data transmission - ideal for dynamic working environments such as retail, healthcare, industry or logistics. The wireless range is up to 100 meters outdoors, which enables maximum flexibility in everyday working life. Thanks to the high-quality 1 megapixel sensor, the scanner effortlessly reads all common 1D and 2D codes as well as postal, stacked and composite codes - even from displays and mobile devices. The white LED illumination is easy on the eyes and offers excellent read rates, even with colored or poorly printed barcodes.
User-friendly & low-maintenance thanks to wireless charging technology
A special feature of the Gryphon I GBT4500 is the contactless charging system via inductive charging stations (e.g. WLC4090 or WLC4190). This technology dispenses with mechanical contacts, which increases reliability, minimizes maintenance and maximizes operating time. A full battery lasts for up to 80,000 scans - ideal for continuous operation in a shift system. Operation is intuitive: the patented "Green Spot" technology and the 3GL™ system with three green LEDs provide visual feedback directly on the code. In noise-sensitive environments - such as hospitals - a vibration function ensures silent read confirmation.
Ergonomic design meets robust technology
With its compact format (16.6 × 6.8 × 10.9 cm) and a weight of just 235 g including battery, the scanner fits perfectly in the hand. Motionix™ technology automatically detects movements and switches between handheld and presentation mode depending on the situation - without any manual switching. Robustness is also guaranteed: The GBT4500 can withstand drops from up to 1.8 m, is protected against dust and water with protection class IP52 and meets ESD requirements up to 16 kV. For hygiene-critical areas, it is also available as an HC version with a disinfectant-resistant housing.
