The Gryphon GD4500 is the premium class among Datalogic's handheld scanners and impresses with state-of-the-art imaging technology and user-friendliness. Equipped with a 1 megapixel sensor and white illumination, the scanner offers superior reading performance for 1D and 2D codes - even with colored labels, mobile displays and hard-to-read barcodes. The innovative Motionix motion detection automatically recognizes whether the device is held in the hand or placed in a standing position and switches to the appropriate scanning mode - for efficient and intuitive use without pressing a button. The highly visible 4-point aiming beam with central cross enables precise scanning even in environments with many barcodes.

Versatile interfaces & hygienic design

The Gryphon GD4500 is available in two interface variants: as a USB model or as a multi-interface version with USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge. With its IP52 protection class, the device is protected against dust and splash water and can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. The housing is disinfectant-resistant and therefore ideal for use in medical areas, pharmacies or laboratories.
