The Datalogic Gryphon™ 4500-HC 2D has been specially developed for demanding use in the healthcare sector. Its robust housing is treated with antibacterial additives to withstand aggressive cleaning agents and disinfectants - perfect for hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies where the highest hygiene standards apply. Thanks to its compatibility with common disinfectants such as Sani-Cloth®, CaviWipes™ or Clorox® Bleach, the scanner remains reliable even with daily cleaning. With its 1 megapixel optics, the Gryphon 4500-HC scans 1D and 2D barcodes from various sources, including mobile device displays. The scanner also recognizes difficult codes - whether curved, small, dense or poorly printed - reliably and quickly. In addition, a vibration function can be activated to provide tactile read confirmations without disturbing patients. Thanks to Motionix™ motion detection, the device recognizes whether it should be in idle or scanning mode - ideal for smoothly switching between manual and presentation mode.
