for the point of sale The Datalogic Heron HD3100 harmonizes design and functionality. As a 1D scanner with CCD technology, it offers reliable scanning performance for linear barcodes and at the same time sets new standards in the design of POS workstations. The stylish silhouette in carbon fiber or silver optics, complemented by individually programmable LED lighting and sound output, ensures a modern appearance that underlines your brand directly at the point of sale.
Powerful & intuitive to use
With a scan rate of up to 270 scans per second, the reliable CCD solid-state sensor and the option to automatically switch between handheld and presentation mode, the Heron HD3100 is also technically impressive across the board. Green Spot technology projects a green dot directly onto the barcode when a scan is successful - an indispensable feature in noisy environments where acoustic feedback alone is not enough. Thanks to the multi-interface (USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge), the scanner can be flexibly integrated into existing checkout systems. With protection class IP40 and drop protection up to 1.5 m, it is also robust and durable in daily use.
