The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9600 is a cordless area imager scanner specially developed for industrial environments. Its robust construction and ergonomic design not only offer maximum durability, but also high operating comfort in continuous use. With a focus on reliability and efficiency, the PBT9600 is the ideal choice for production, logistics and warehouse applications. Thanks to its IP65 and IP67 protection class and drop resistance of up to 50 drops from a height of 2.5 meters, the scanner can easily withstand tough industrial applications. The intuitive target detection minimizes false readings and supports fast, smooth workflows, even at high scanning frequencies.

Wireless freedom and smart connectivity

The PowerScan PBT9600 stands out with its wireless Bluetooth® 5.0 connectivity. It can be flexibly paired with any Bluetooth-enabled device or the specially developed base station. Data transmission is reliable and secure with a range of up to 100 meters in an open space. This means that even large work areas can be covered without restrictions. The inductive charging system is a particular highlight: the scanner does not require any mechanical charging contacts. This completely eliminates typical sources of error such as dirty or damaged contacts - a real advantage for long-lasting use in everyday industrial applications. The modular BC9600 base/charger also offers interfaces for RS-232, USB, standard Ethernet and Industrial Ethernet protocols. Companies can therefore easily integrate different IT infrastructures and expand them flexibly.

The PowerScan PBT9600 offers three different optical configurations for different application scenarios: Standard Range, High Performance for high-resolution codes and a variant for document capture. These options make the scanner a versatile tool for production lines, incoming goods, order picking or the traceability of individual components. The user experience is also impressive: an easy-to-read OLED display and optional 4- or 16-button keypads offer visual feedback and simple control directly on the device. Thanks to Datalogic's 3GL™ technology with triple green read confirmation, acoustic signal and vibration function, the user knows immediately whether the scan was successful. With integrated Motionix™ technology, the device automatically detects movement and switches seamlessly between scan and sleep mode depending on its position - saving energy and increasing productivity.
