The Datalogic QuickScan QBT2500 is a wireless 2D scanner that has been specially developed for the retail sector and for use at POS checkouts. Thanks to modern Bluetooth® 4.0 wireless technology, it offers maximum freedom of movement and a range of up to 50 meters - ideal for applications with high scanning volumes and mobile requirements. The scanner reliably reads both classic 1D barcodes and modern 2D codes on cell phone displays or customer cards - even through Plexiglas barriers or with difficult print qualities. With its impressive scanning speed and responsiveness, the QBT2500 speeds up all checkout processes and noticeably improves sales efficiency. Automatic barcode recognition and omnidirectionality make scanning intuitive and error-free.

Precision meets convenience

An outstanding feature of the QuickScan QBT2500 is the precise aiming optics with blue LED aiming and Datalogic's proven "Green Spot" technology. This visual read confirmation shows the user exactly when a barcode has been successfully scanned - ideal for noisy environments or sensitive areas. The ergonomic shape and light weight ensure that the scanner sits comfortably in the hand even during long periods of use. The soft red backlight reduces eye fatigue and creates optimal reading conditions even in difficult lighting conditions. In addition, the QBT2500 is equipped with Motionix™ technology, which automatically switches between sleep and active mode - for seamless operations without manual switching.

Future-proof and versatile

With multi-interface capability (USB, USB-C, RS-232), the QuickScan QBT2500 is future-proof and can be easily integrated into existing infrastructures. In addition to 1D and 2D codes, it also scans postcodes, stacked and composite barcodes as well as digital watermarks such as Digimarc. This makes it ideal not only for the retail sector, but also for applications in pharmacies, ticketing, public authorities and shipping service providers. The powerful lithium-ion battery enables up to 115,000 scans per charge and can be conveniently charged via USB-C or a charging station. The robust design with IP52 certification protects against dust and water, while the scanner can withstand repeated drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters without damage.
