Accurate and easy on the eyes - for fatigue-free work
A particular highlight of the QuickScan 2500 is the optical aiming aid: while the QW model works with a clear blue dot, the QD, QM and QBT models have a visual aiming field consisting of two precisely defined blue triangles. In the middle, Datalogic's Green Spot technology ensures immediate read confirmation - directly on the barcode, supported by a configurable signal tone. The soft red illumination also minimizes eye fatigue during long periods of use. This not only makes work more precise, but also more pleasant. In addition, the integrated Motionix™ technology automatically recognizes when the scanner is in the hand and intelligently switches between idle and scan mode - without any manual switching.
Wireless freedom and versatile connectivity
For maximum flexibility, the QuickScan 2500 offers two cordless options: the in-house STAR Cordless System™ (model QM) and Bluetooth 4.0 (model QBT). STAR offers a reliable, low-interference alternative that is particularly practical in times when Bluetooth chips are in short supply. Both variants boast a long range - up to 30 meters with the STAR system and up to 50 meters via Bluetooth - as well as secure data transmission thanks to encryption and authentication. Whether wired or wireless: with USB-C, RS-232 or classic USB, the scanner is compatible with all POS systems and devices. Easy integration is supported by the free Datalogic Aladdin™ 3.0 configurator - including online access and direct barcode generation for mobile setup.
