Datalogic TaskBook - industrial tablet for demanding work environments

The Datalogic TaskBook is a particularly robust and ergonomic industrial tablet that has been specially designed for use in warehouse logistics, manufacturing and industrial vehicles. It combines the performance of a tablet with the versatility of a mobile scanner - in a modular design that can be flexibly adapted to different tasks.

The TaskBook is available in two sizes: with a 7-inch or 10-inch multi-touch display, each equipped with impact-resistant Gorilla® Glass (1.6 mm thick). Both versions can be worn comfortably on the forearm and therefore enable two-handed working - ideal for pick-by-vision, order picking or incoming goods processes.

Scanner & battery under control: intelligent ergonomics for 24/7 operation

The optional handle with integrated 2D scanner (standard or auto range) and replaceable hot-swap battery is a truly unique selling point. This enables smooth 24/7 shifts - without charging breaks and without having to replace the device. Depending on the model, the scanning range extends from 1.1 to 15 meters - perfect for scanning on shelves, pallets or from the vehicle cabin.

Thanks to the docking station with AC/DC connection, the TaskBook can be easily mounted stationary or on industrial trucks (VESA 75 mm). CAN bus and RS232 interfaces are optionally available - ideal for integration into existing intralogistics systems.

Extremely robust - made for the toughest conditions

The TaskBook was built for long-term use in demanding conditions: IP65 protection against water and dust, vibration-resistant in accordance with EN60068-2-64 and temperature-resistant from -20 °C to +50 °C. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.2 m and hundreds of consecutive drops with ease - ideal for production, handling areas or outdoor use.

With a weight of just 733 g (7") or 1,044 g (10") and a non-slip polycarbonate/ASA housing material, the TaskBook sits securely in the hand. It is operated via an anti-glare, multi-touch display that can also be used with gloves or a stylus.

Operating system, software and interfaces: Everything on board

The TaskBook runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and is fully compatible with common enterprise mobility solutions such as SOTI or Ivanti/Wavelink. Remote maintenance, device configuration and security management can be mapped centrally via MDM platforms.

Thanks to integrated WLAN and Bluetooth modules, USB-C, Ethernet, audio, CAN and optional interfaces, the TaskBook meets all the requirements for digital transformation in the industrial environment.
