The Honeywell PX45 is a powerful 4-inch industrial printer designed for high-volume printing processes in production, logistics, pharmaceuticals, automotive and other industries with 24/7 continuous operation. With its robust metal construction, a print speed of up to 305 mm/s (12 ips) and an optional resolution of 406 dpi, the PX45 processes labels of the highest quality and speed - from compliance labels to small barcodes on production parts.
Thanks to its compact, modular design, the printer can be easily integrated into automated labeling processes. Media and printhead changes are quick and tool-free thanks to the magnetic QuickMount™ system. Various media formats - from rolls to folded material - with widths from 25.4 mm to 120 mm (PX45) can be easily processed.
The PX45 supports all common 1D and 2D barcodes and delivers razor-sharp results with direct thermal or thermal transfer processes. Additional flexibility is provided by variants with an RFID module (UHF EPC Gen2), with which labels can not only be printed but also encoded - directly in the same operation.
Programmable, networked & future-proof - maximum control at the printer
As a smart printer, the PX45 can be operated completely autonomously: With integrated support for C# and Fingerprint, it can host its own applications, communicate with peripheral devices and even control processes - all without a PC. Configuration, updates and fault diagnostics can be managed centrally via the Honeywell PrintSet 5 Suite, the web interface or the mobile app. Operational Intelligence makes fleet management scalable and efficient.
The PX45 offers USB, USB host, Ethernet 10/100 Mbps and RS-232 as standard. WLAN (802.11ac), Bluetooth, industrial I/O, dual serial ports or an applicator interface are optionally available - even IPv6, HTTPS, SNMPv3 & Telnet/SSH are natively supported. This means that the PX45 also meets the highest IT security requirements in Industry 4.0 environments.
With a memory of 512 MB Flash and 256 MB SDRAM, as well as support for USB sticks and SAP/Oracle XML printing, the PX45 is ideal for future-proof labeling solutions. It is compatible with all Honeywell media, including durable industrial labels for extreme environments.
