The Xenon Ultra 1960g is the new high-end model in Honeywell's proven Xenon series - designed for demanding retail environments. Equipped with a powerful area imager and innovative scanning platform, it scans damaged or hard-to-read barcodes quickly and reliably - even in poor lighting conditions or on smartphone displays. With its optional dual camera XR model, the 1960g offers an extended scanning range for items close to the floor or in the shopping cart - ideal for modern checkout workstations.
Robust construction meets modern design
The scanner can withstand 50 drops from a height of 1.8 m and 2,000 drops (0.5 m) - even in changing ambient temperatures. With protection class IP52, it is protected against dust and splash water. The green illuminated target marking ("Green Dot Aimer") enables precise scanning - even when barcode labels are close together.
Impressive design and ergonomics: low weight, intuitive operation and rear status LEDs increase user-friendliness.
Flexibility & compatibility guaranteed
Whether USB, RS-232 or keyboard wedge - the Xenon Ultra 1960g can be easily integrated into existing POS systems. And best of all: accessories from the predecessor series Xenon XP 1950g can continue to be used - this saves costs and makes migration easier. In addition, Honeywell's Scanner Management Utility (SMU) supports simple deployment and maintenance - ideal for store chains with multiple devices.
