The Zebra DS3600-SR is the corded version of the DS3600 series and was specially developed for use in demanding industrial environments. It boasts a virtually indestructible design - with drop resistance from up to 3 meters onto concrete and IP65 and IP68 tightness certification. Whether dust, moisture, extreme heat or freezing temperatures: this scanner works reliably, even in deep-freeze warehouses or outdoor applications. In addition to its physical robustness, the DS3600-SR scores with outstanding scanner technology. Equipped with Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology and a high-resolution sensor, the scanner recognizes even hard-to-read, damaged or dirty barcodes. Barcodes can be easily captured both at close range and from a distance of up to 1.5 meters - faster and more reliably than comparable devices.

Another highlight is the support of Multi-Code Data Formatting (MDF): With just one triggering process, the DS3600-SR scans several barcodes simultaneously and transfers the exact information required in the order expected by the system. This saves valuable time in the work process and reduces sources of error. Thanks to Label Parse+ technology, complex labels such as GS1 codes can be read and processed directly - including information on the date of manufacture, batch or expiration date. Ideal for applications in incoming goods or batch tracking. For pick-by-light or order picking applications, the scanner offers precise target detection on individual barcodes within a list. This is supplemented by versatile feedback modes such as vibration, LEDs or acoustic signals, so that the scanning process is clearly reported even in noisy or dark environments.

Management and integration made easy

The DS3600-SR can be easily integrated into industrial networks, for example via USB, RS232 or Industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP). Zebra's free tools such as 123Scan or the Scanner Management Service (SMS) enable centralized management and configuration - even across multiple sites. The robust design extends to the charging contacts: these are designed for over 250,000 mating cycles and offer a permanent corrosion-free connection with Connect+ Contact technology.
