The Zebra RS4000 is a corded 1D laser scanner in a ring scanner design - specially developed for use with the Zebra WT6000 wearable computer. By attaching directly to the finger, employees' hands remain free to move boxes, parcels and goods - ideal for warehousing, shipping, cross-docking or picking in retail. With just one tap of the trigger, the RS4000 captures barcodes accurately and quickly - even from long distances. The patented adaptive scanning technology enables reading distances from a few centimetres up to 5 meters, e.g. for reflective Code 39 labels with a size of 100 mil.

Efficient with every barcode - even under adverse conditions

Whether scratched, dirty or poorly printed - thanks to advanced algorithms, the RS4000 reliably scans even problematic barcodes on the first attempt. The patented liquid polymer scan element with lifetime guarantee works wear-free and reduces downtimes to a minimum. The bright, highly visible scan line allows precise aiming, while an oversized LED signals successful capture to the user - ideal even in poor lighting conditions. Single or continuous scan mode can be selected depending on the application.

Ergonomic, hygienic & extremely robust

The RS4000 weighs just 56.7 g and can be worn on both hands: the convenient hinge function allows it to be quickly switched between the left and right hand. A separately replaceable finger loop for each employee ensures additional hygiene. The design with die-cast zinc frame, shock-resistant scan engine and shielded housing offers high resistance to falls. The cable is reinforced in areas subject to heavy loads to protect against failure. Protection class IP54 guarantees resistance to dust and splash water.
