Zebra ZD621-HC - Medical label printer for maximum hygiene and performance
The ZD621-HC was specially developed for demanding requirements in the healthcare sector. It combines the proven quality of the ZD620 series with the latest technology for hygienically sensitive areas such as hospitals, laboratories or doctors' surgeries. Whether prescription labels, laboratory or patient wristbands - the ZD621-HC masters every application reliably, safely and efficiently.
The robust housing is made of UV-resistant, disinfectant-resistant plastic and is easy to clean. The sealed key surface prevents germ deposits, while the medical power supply unit complies with the IEC 60601-1 standard for clinical use.
Another highlight is the large 4.3-inch color touch display, which is fitted as standard in the healthcare version. The intuitive menu navigation with setup wizards, error and calibration instructions enables easy operation - even with changing personnel.
Intelligent functions & maximum integration for modern clinical processes
A new architecture with 30 % more performance than its predecessor is at work inside. The ZD621-HC is available as a direct thermal and thermal transfer model with 203 dpi or optional 300 dpi and achieves print speeds of up to 203 mm/s - ideal for large label volumes. The movable sensor recognizes a wide range of media formats, from labels to wristbands.
The ZD621-HC comes with USB, Ethernet, RS-232, USB host and BLE for app setup as standard. WLAN (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.1 can be retrofitted as an option. The battery option makes the printer mobile - for example on a trolley. The Print DNA operating system enables centralized remote management, security configuration (PrintSecure) and easy integration into Zebra Managed Print Services (MPS).
Thanks to features such as OpenACCESS™, real-time clock, label dispenser, cutter, Zebra Designer software and printing from Android/iOS devices, the ZD621-HC is versatile and ready for any clinical process.
