The ZD621R from Zebra is a powerful 4-inch desktop printer with integrated RFID encoder - developed for companies looking for an efficient, reliable and space-saving solution for labeling and traceability. As the direct successor to the proven ZD500R, it combines modern architecture, ease of use and the highest print quality with innovative RFID technology.
With Zebra's own RE40 RFID module, the ZD621R supports all common UHF standards (EPC Gen2 V2, ISO/IEC 18000-63, RAIN RFID) and, thanks to adaptive encoding, offers simple set-up without time-consuming calibration. This allows RFID labels with variable chip pitches (from 0.6 mm pitch) to be securely printed and encoded - ideal for applications in production, healthcare, logistics, retail or ticketing.
The integrated 4.3-inch color touchscreen with icon guidance, setup wizard and error displays enables intuitive operation - even for changing personnel. Robust construction, OpenACCESS™ design and the Zebra Print DNA Suite round off the premium package.
Full connectivity & performance for modern RFID workflows
The ZD621R offers USB, USB host, Ethernet, serial interface and Bluetooth Low Energy for easy setup via app as standard. A dual wireless module for WLAN 802.11ac & Bluetooth 4.1 is optionally available - factory-fitted or retrofittable on site. With a print speed of up to 203 mm/s and a maximum print width of 104 mm (203 dpi) or 108 mm (300 dpi), the printer delivers consistently accurate results.
Media compatibility is particularly high thanks to the movable sensor: roll and fanfold labels, black mark, wristbands and more are supported. RFID performance is additionally supported by job tracking and logging tools with time stamps.
For mobile use, the printer can be extended with a rechargeable battery and a carrying case - perfect for flexible applications at the point of care, goods receipt or production. Zebra OneCare™ services ensure long-term availability and enterprise-level support.
